XII International Conference of Caucasian Studies in Memory of St. Grigol Peradze took place at Warsaw University in Poland on December 4-6. The conference was dedicated to the 825th anniversary of Shota Rustaveli’s creative work.
The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski were present at the opening ceremony. A number of well-known scholars as well as church representatives took part in the conference. One of the presenters was Darejan Chkhirodze, Associate Professor of Kutaisi University.
Georgian participants of the conference were invited to meet Nikoloz Nikolozishvili, the ambassador of Georgia in Poland. They also had a chance to attend a service at St. Grigol Peradze Church.
