The festival “Theatrical Imereti” organized by Imereti Governor’s office, Kutaisi local self-government, municipalities of the region and theatrical community, and held at Lado Meskhishvili State Drama Theatre continued from May 30 to June 12. Kutaisi University drama club was among the 14 casts taking part in this event.
On May 31st our young cast presented Gia Jalaghonia’s “Don’t Leave Me When I’m Old” (directed by Zaza Lezhava) on the main stage of the theatre. The performance was very successful and the audience was touched by the theme of the play as well as the high standard of acting.
