PEOPLE Project in Full Swing

Tempus PEOPLE project continues to roll at full speed. After successful completion of the trainings on HR management and strategic planning process held at European partner Universities (UPC and IST) in Lisbon and Barcelona, the trainees of Kutaisi University (KU) organized and conducted two effective staff meetings in the conference room of KU on 17-24 March, 2015.

The main objectives of these meetings were to discus and agree on how to work out a strategic plan on HR Development for Kutaisi University. These discussions have resulted in the following outcomes:

• Revised vision and mission statements
• Clarified University Core Values
• Updated SWOT and PESTEL Analysis
• Identified Strategic Lines and Operational Objectives
• Defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

The elaboration of the HR strategic plan with the time frame of 4 years is still underway. The final version is going to be prepared and approved in July 2015.
