On May 29 Kutaisi University students and academic staff members visited Sports school #12 and its shooting gallery.
Seven teams, each consisting of five members - four students and a captain, took part in this exciting competition.
The shooting competition turned out to be really intense, thrilling and very close. Two of the teams had exactly the same results. So the third-place winner was identified in the competition of the captains of the two teams. That was when the tension and excitement reached its peak.
These are the final results: the first prize – team “Snipers” (captain Tinatin Meparishvili), the second prize – team “Guns and Rose” (captain Eliso Karosanidze), the third prize – “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” (captain Mzia Zhorzholiani).
All the participants received the certificates and the three winning teams were awarded with cups. The hosts presented the rector of the university Lela Kelbakiani with a souvenir for promoting healthy lifestyle among the students of the university.
At the end, the students and the academic staff members thanked the hosts and the sports school with small gifts and took photos.
